2486 participants took part in 14 different categories in Borivali Khel Mahotsav, 626 emerged winners!

With Corona taking back seat for a while people have started outdoor activities, especially sports. Taking this into account the #BorivaliKhelMahotsav was organised by the #BorivaliSportsAndCulturalAssociation. It concluded with a #CycleMarathon at #GoraiJetty and a skating event at #PadmaNagarRoad in #Borivali. The sports festival was scheduled from 27th November to 5th December. In this sports festival held from 27 November to 5 December. A total of 626 winners at 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions were awarded cash prizes and all others with the consolation prize.

The Borivali Khel Mahotsav includes various sports events like Marathon, Football, Carom, Mallakhamb Cricket, Volleyball Skating, Taekwondo, Boxing, Judo, Karate, Swordplay, KickBoxing, Cycling and Cycle Marathon, etc. Shri #SunilRane, MLA of Borivali motivated the participants and asked them to perform to the best of their ability. He also interacted with various sports coaches and discussed the performance of the students.

On this occasion, MLA Sunil Rane said that first of all I want to thank the residents for the successful organization of the Borivali Khel Mahotsav and all the players also participated in this competition and made the sports festival a successful event. Along with as a politician, I have always been associated with social welfare programs. With the organization of the Borivali Sports Festival, it was found that there is a lack of necessary resources for sports, good playgrounds in Mumbai, a lack of sports coaches along with many other resources.

In the Borivali Khel Mahotsav, under the carom male category Shailesh Sawant, Siddhesh Bhoidar, Prakash Bhaskar, Milind Bhaskar and under female category Anita Kanoujia, Anita Nayak, Simran Shinde were among the winners.

Gold for different categories under Judo Karate, silver for challengers Judo club, Kapadia Judo club, Mumbai Judo club, United Judo club, Rizvi College, Hindu College, SSVM, SSM, EPON Judo club, marine Judo club, Winner Judo club were the winners. Under Judo female category, TATA compound BMS, Walia Junior college, Manniben Nanavati, Bombay Judo club, Nadkarni Park, Mumbai Police, Shashi Judo club, Kapadia Judo club, Rizvi College, SSVM, EPON Judo club, Thakur College were the winners.
