Republic Day Special’ on Indian Idol – Season 13!

 

#MeenaNayyar, mother of the late Captain of the Indian Army #AnujNayyar lauds #RishiSingh on the Republic Day special episode on Sony TV’s #IndianIdol–Season13.

This Sunday at 8:00 PM Sony Entertainment Television’s most prestigious singing reality show Indian Idol 13 will be seen celebrating the ‘Republic Day Special’ episode. The Top 8 contestants will be fulfilling the song requests made by the eminent and respected members from the Army, Navy, CRPF forces and more. The evening will be more delightful as lyricist, poet and screenwriter Manoj Muntashir will be seen joining the judge’s panel with Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshammiya. Not only this but making the music musicana the viewers will also see ex-Indian Idol contestants – Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjiala, Anokona, Nihal Tauro, Aashish Kulkarni, Sunny Hindustani, Danish Mohd and Sayli Kamble who will be seen invoking the feeling of patriotism and pride towards the nation amongst the viewers along with the Top 8 contestants. Talking about the performances, contestant Rishi Singh from Ayodhya will be seen invoking heightened emotions as he performs on the song “Teri Mitti” from the film “Kesari.’

Guest Meena Nayyar, mother of the late Captain of the Indian Army “Anuj Nayyar” will be seen gracing the show in support of Rishi. Her son was felicitated with the Mahavir chakra 24 years age for the Kargil war where he killed three Pakistani bunkers through a machine gun and shots nine other Pakistani soldiers in the war. The mother of Captain Anuj Nayyar will be seen talking about his son and calls him ‘Thandi Hawa ka jhoka’. She also shares how Anuj kept writing letters to her professing his wishes. Talking about the emotional moment, Meena Nayyar will be seen talking about his last letter where he wrote, “Maa pray for me, God always listens to you” and reading it again, his mother will break down in tears making everyone present of the set emotional.

Talking about Rishi’s performance Meena Nayyar shares, “After listening to this song (Teri Mitti) sung by RIshi, I could never imagine listening to the entire song after so many years. I am grateful to Indian Idol who gave me this opportunity and giving my son Anuj so much appreciation. Thank you for honoring my son’s Anuj’s bravery.” Moreover, she also adds, that there was a book launched in the name of Anuj Nayaar named “The Tiger of Drass” which was also given to everyone in the show.

The top 8 contestants, Rishi Singh from Ayodhya, Bidipta Chakraborty, Debosmita Roy, Senjuti Das, Sonakshi Kar from Kolkata, Chirag Kotwal from Jammu, Navdeep Wadali from Amritsar, Shivam Singh, will sway the viewers off their feet this weekend on Indian Idol Season 13.
