Yesteryear’s superstar Mumtaz gets emotional post II13’s Rishi Singh’s performance!

This Sunday, nostalgia will take over Sony Entertainment Television’s prestigious singing reality show, ‘Indian Idol – Season 13’ as the show will welcome Bollywood’s legendary ‘He-Man,’ #DharmendraJi for the second time along with Mumtaz Ji who will mark her presence on the show for the first time after 50 years! As a tribute, the show will be celebrating the ‘Dharmendra and #MumtazClassics’ where the Top 8 contestants will not only sing classics from their era but will also make both Dharam ji and Mumtaz ji feel special by wearing some of their iconic film attires.

Contestant Rishi Singh from Ayodhya sings a spectacular rendition of the classic song ‘Hum Bewafa,’ from the film ‘Shalimar.’ While his performance received heaps of praises, Mumtaz Ji was visibly emotional. When asked, Mumtaz Ji who compliments Rishi and getting emotional says, “You sang beautifully! It touched my heart and reminded me of my old times.”
