‘BB13’ couple Mahira and Paras’ ‘Hashtag Love Soniye’ releases
With the news of popular apps being banned and through a lockdown that persists, for our own safety, the Meet Bros never fail to surprise us with their innovation and passion dedicated to bringing us great music and entertainment. After their recent first-ever Digital Performance with viewers cheering and interacting with them over a “Zoom” call, the Meet Bros have proved themselves unstoppable with their New Song “Hashtag Love Soniye”, featuring personalities of Bigg Boss fame, Mahira Sharma and Paras Chhabra. The Video, shot in lockdown is finally all set to hit your screens and tells a beautiful anecdote of a lockdown love story, which has been Directed by Story Baba.
“Hashtag Love Soniye” is about two people getting to know each other online and sharing moments of fun and learning, inspiring one another through these challenging times. It’s sung by the versatile Piyush Mehroliyaa who is famous for his song “Awara Shaam Hai”, which was nominated for the Mirchi Music Awards last year (2019), and is Written by the Punjabi Munda & Rapper, Mellow D of the “Dil hai Hindustani” fame.
When asked about the song, Harmeet Singh of the Meet Bros said, “Once we got a little relief from the lockdown, we got into the studio to finish this song but had the challenge of shooting yet maintaining all lockdown guidelines. It was a challenge! But with every challenge that we overcome, we soar to new heights” Manmeet Singh of the Meet Bros said, “It’s a new age Romantic song that everybody will fall in love with because it is relatable to our present times. And that’s how we have shot it. Mahira and Paras worked really hard with limited equipment and people to shoot this and make sure this song sees the light of day. They’ve truly been great friends”.
Asking Mahira, how different it was shooting for ‘Hashtag Love Soniyea’, she said “Shooting for this was a completely new experience and something to remember in my career. Thanks… to Manmeet and Harmeet for this great tune and concept and of course Paras for his support, #besties!” Paras said, ‘Due to the lockdown, all shoots were canceled and Mahira gave me a call and told me that the Meet Bros wanted to do a song and after hearing it I was excited. Then after meeting and working with the brothers, I felt like I knew them for years, they are such sweethearts.”
Piyush Mehroliya said, “Meet Bros are my family and when Manmeet Bhai told me that he wanted to take an idea I had and make it into a lockdown song with a different vocal treatment, I felt elated and have given my best.” “I heard the tune and the lyrics kept following in” added rapper Mellow D.
