Dr Akshata and Dr Swaroop of TIGP say, ‘Every woman is beautiful’!

Usually a word beauty queen brings certain image in front of the eyes. A beautiful face on a slim and trim tall female body is expected to surface. But it’s always said that, “Beauty is skin deep”. The same motto is followed by The International Glamour Project’s founder member #DrSwaroopPuranik and his beautiful better half #DrAkshataPrabhu. Incidentally this doctor couple are achiever’s in life. According to them, ‘Every woman is beautiful’.

Dr Swaroop is a Periodontist by profession and is an International Triathlon athlete. He has successfully completed Iron Man Championship twice. In February 2019 he completed Iron Man 70.3 Championship at Dubai and again in the same year in April Dr Swaroop successfully managed to accomplish his 2nd Iron Man North American Championship at Texas, USA.

Dr Akshata Prabhu became the first Indian to be crowned Ms International World in Floria, USA in 2021. She was earlier crowned first runner up Mrs India World 2019 in Mumbai. Dr Akshata Prabhu is a qualified paediatric dentist and a national speaker in the field of paediatric dentistry. Akshata was a professional model way back in 2002 and continued till 2008 as she wanted to focus on her medical studies. She did not hesitate to give up career in the glamour world as she wanted to pursue her Masters degree in Paediatric Dental Surgery.

In 2019 Dr Akshata entered Mrs India contest and after being in the winners’ list she now has started helping thousands of women who want to be part of the glamour world. Dr Akshata with her husband Dr Swaroop floated a company The International Glamour Project through which all females, irrespective of age, colour, height, shape, place etc. are allowed to enter a beauty pageant and the winners represent TIGP at International Pageants.

TIGP recently conducted a media and question and answer round of the shortlisted candidates and the finalists will be declared soon. Actor Natasha Joshi, who works in South Indian films, Actor Tanmay Singh, who was the lead actor in a recently released film, Sayonee, and Sr Editor CineBuster magazine, Mr Keerti Kadam graced the occasion as judges and special guests. It was an exhaustive yet invigorating experience for them and they thoroughly enjoyed the proceedings. The TIGP App too was launched during the event.

Now, TIGP is gearing up for a grand finale very soon, where Teen, Ms, Mrs contest winners will be declared.
