Review : AB LLB – Iski To Degree Hi Ulti Hai : Funny yet eye opening comic crime drama!

The web series, known for nudity, sex and cuss words, are waning. In recent times many web series have become clean and devoid of explicit dialogues and exposing scenes. Comedic stuff is heavily enjoyed by the viewers and to entertain them comes a comic web series laced with a message. #ABLLBIskiToDegreeHiUlti Hai is a court room drama with subtle comedy and the twists and turns in it keep viewers engrossed. This 8-episodic drama is directed and written by Sami Khan. It is full of comedy, drama, crime, and entertainment. It stars #SameerDharmadhikari, #RakeshBedi, #SamiKhan, and #ShubhangiLatkar in prominent roles. Sami Khan plays the lead wherein he plays an advocate who is keen on becoming an actor.

Bablu (Sami Khan) is a struggling actor who is not interested in court proceeding despite being a holder of a law degree. His first winning case is about the MeToo allegation made by a famous actress about a gay producer. He wins it but because of his ailing father’s last wish he volunteers to win one last case, a case where a father (Sanjay Khapre) had killed his son and his son’s girlfriend. The victim’s elder brother is a successful lawyer and a goon, Sudama (Sameer Dharmadhikari). How things proceed in the said case and how it comes to fruition forms the crux of the narration.

Writer director Sami Khan plays the lead role of Bablu very convincingly. He has paced the screenplay with a required speed and ends each episode on a high note, which is a plus for this series. Khan keeps proceedings simple and comedy as well as the dramatic scenes keep the viewers engrossed in the proceedings. The finale too is well executed and gives a hint of season 2. Production values of the series should have been more richer. The cinematography captures the natural beauty of semi rural Maharashtra and the background score too is good. Sami Khan portrays the character at hand convincingly. Sameer Dharmadhikari, Rakesh Bedi as one of the judges, Shubhangi Latkar as a Judge and Sanjay Khapare have done a fabulous job which elevates the interest in the series.
