A new definition of happiness will unfold with ‘Sukh Mhanje Kay Ast’ on Star Pravah

Star Pravah launches new serial ‘Sukh Mhanje Kay Ast’, which will start it’s telecast from 17th of August, ‘20. If someone asks you what exactly happiness is, you will get innumerable answers. Everyone has their own definition of happiness. For some money is happiness, for others, mental bliss is happiness and for others’ happiness in life is utter happiness. The same definition of happiness will be revealed in Star Pravah’s latest presentation ‘Sukh Mhanje Kay Ast’.

Presented by Star Pravah, the serial is produced by Kothare Visions and directed by Chandrakant Kanase.  The special thing is that actress Varsha Usgaonkar will play the role of Nandini in the serial. Incidently she is making a comeback on television after 10 years. So far we have seen Varshaji in glamorous roles. She’ll be seen playing a strict mother-in-law from a rich and famous family, Shirke-Patil, from Kolhapur.

Explaining the uniqueness of this serial, Satish Rajwade, Programming head, Star Pravah, said, “What exactly is happiness, is the core of ‘Sukh Mhanje Kay Ast’. This serial is a family watch. In ordinary life, we face the challenges and the events that stare us in our face. This is exactly what the serial is trying to say.  Whatever is destined is bound to happen. In this serial, Varsha Usgaonkar, Mandar Jadhav, Girija Prabhu, Madhavi Nimkar, Sunil Godse, Ganesh Revadekar are playing important roles. Mandar Jadhav, was last seen playing Shri Dutt in Star Pravah’s ‘Shri Gurudev Dutt‘ serial. Commenting on his new role in the serial, Mandar said, “I am very happy that I did mythological serial Shri Gurudev Dutt for Star Pravah and again I’ll be working on their new social project ‘Sukh Mhanje Kay Ast’. I am playing Jaideep, who returns to his family business after completing his education abroad. He’s an idealist and always stands up against atrocities. He’s an ideal boy, an ideal son, an ideal brother, an ideal son-in-law. Viewers who accepted me in Shri Gurudev Dutt, hopefully will like me in ‘Sukh Mhanje Kay Ast’.

Girija Prabhu is playing a main lead for the first time. She opined, ‘Portraying this character is a big responsibility. I get to learn a lot from the director Chandrakant Kanse. Promos of this serial have received tremendously positive response. I am excited about this serial and request everyone to watch this realistically beautiful serial ‘Sukh Mhanje Kay Ast’ which start telecasting from 17th August, ‘20’.
