Celebrating Gandhian values via compelling stories on screen!
#TheGandhanian tenets of non-violence, an unshakeable commitment to truth, non-violence and compassion have inspired generations and also leaders like #NelsonMandela and #MartinLutherKingJr. In 2019, to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of #MahatmaGandhi, the United Nations Secretary General António Guterres, referred to Gandhi as a global icon of peace and an advocate for the most vulnerable. Even in popular culture, Gandhi has inspired playwrights and film makers to build narratives around the futility of hate and the primacy of humanism and love.
