The Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Eknath Shinde posted the first motion poster of the film on social media and wrote –

The first grandiose film based on the life of the protector of religion Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj #Shivrayancha_Chhava is releasing on 16th February 2024. All the best to the film’s director Digpal Lanjekar, producers Malhar Pitchers and Vaibhav Bhor, Kishore Patkar, and the entire team.

After impressing the audience with the series of movies on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his army, starting from ‘Farzand’, ‘Fatteshikast’, ‘Pawankhind’ ‘Sher Shivraj’ and ‘Subhedar’, actor-director Digpal Lanjekar has announced the sixth part of the series which is titled as ‘Shivrayancha Chhava’.

Billed as a historical drama, this historical epic is based on Chhatrapati Sambhaji, also known as Shambhuraje was the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire, who was the eldest son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Maratha Empire.

It is scheduled to be released in theatres on February 16, 2024, and has been shot extensively all over Maharashtra. It stars Chinmay Mandlekar, Trupti Toradmal, Prasanna Ketkar, Abhijeet Shwetachandra, and Mrinal Kulkarni.
