Actress Sonam Khan stands by her son, even when society finds it difficult to accept him for who he is!
Returning actress #SonamKhan, one of the most popular heroines of the 90’s era, has been making the headlines recently, stepping out after nearly two decades. The actress left show business after the birth of her son, leaving audiences with the memories of her numerous hits in a short period. However. This did not come without its share of struggle, and the actress recently took to Instagram to share a little bit of that with her audience, sharing lines written by Jalal al-Din Muhammad Rumi and spoken in the popular film ‘Rockstar’.
In the video, Sonam Khan recites a dialogue from the film Rockstar, and in her caption, the actress-model spoke about how it gives her the strength to stand by her son, even when society finds it difficult to accept him for who he is. In her caption, she wrote:
“A dialogue piece from the movie #Rockstar which deeply resonated with me…..
I keep these lines by “Jalal al-Din Muhammad Rumi” as close to my heart as I can for they offer me the strength to stand by my son when society fails to accept him for who he is. They embody the hope that one day, we’ll meet in a place beyond right and wrong, where judgment holds no sway over him or others facing hardships. Life is too short to criticize someone for their circumstances.”
Sonam Khan also spoke about how we should focus on the brighter side, paying tribute to everyone engaging in personal battle by adding:
“In light of this, let’s encourage people to embrace and respect their uniqueness. Instead of passing judgment, let’s focus on the brighter side because those battling with distinctiveness aren’t wrong; it’s the mentality that deems them unfit for societal boundaries that is flawed. This poem serves as a tribute to all those engaged in their personal battles. I Dedicate it to all those who may find comfort in these words. 🤗✨
