‘These’ &TV actors to explore deeper facets of themselves in the New Year!
The onset of the New Year brings excitement, happiness, and resolutions to enhance the upcoming year. Actors of &TV shows are also looking forward to exploring deeper facets of themselves and achieving personal growth with their New Year’s resolutions. These include Ashutosh Kulkarni (Krishan Bihari Vajpayee) and Neha Joshi (Krishna Devi Vajpayee) from Atal, Geetanjali Mishra (Rajesh) and Himani Shivpuri (Katori Amma) from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, Vidisha Srivastava (Anita Bhabi) and Aasif Sheikh (Vibhuti Narayan Mishra) from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai. Ashutosh Kulkarni, essaying Krishan Bihari Vajpayee in Atal, shares, “In 2024, I will dedicate more time to self-improvement. It will include learning new skills, reading daily, exercising regularly, and maintaining a healthy and balanced diet. By investing in myself, I aim to become a more well-rounded individual personally and professionally.”
Geetanjali Mishra, essaying Rajesh Singh in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, says “I had a great year, thanks to my show Happu Ki Ultan Paltan. As I look ahead to 2024, I resolve to spend more quality time with my family. I promised my nephews I would take them to various places and holiday destinations in 2024. They have already shared their list of favourite places, so I need to start working on it as soon as the new year begins (laughs).”
Vidisha Srivastava, essaying Anita Bhabi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, says, “In 2023, I received the most precious gift of my life – my little angel, Aadya. As a new mom, I have realized the importance of slowing down and spending more quality time with my baby girl. It can be easy to get caught up in the daily hustle and bustle, but I don’t want to forget that my child won’t stay young forever. Therefore, my resolution for this year is to enjoy these early years of motherhood, and cherish every moment with my daughter.”
Neha Joshi, essaying Krishna Devi Vajpayee in Atal, shares, “I will continue to focus on working hard while at the same time prioritize my overall well-being. I believe that taking care of oneself is essential, but in our fast-paced lives, we often neglect it. Therefore, I aim to work on my physical health, achieve greater success professionally, and take care of my mental health.”
Himani Shivpuri, essaying Katori Amma in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, says, “I have set a New Year’s resolution for 2024 to take care of new plants in my home. Gardening has always been close to my heart. Therefore, I am going to try my hand at growing some indoor house plants, container vegetables and more. Although I have experience in gardening in my hometown of Dehradun, following the gardening tradition here in Mumbai is something that I find challenging.”
Aasif Sheikh, essaying Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, says, “I love reading and writing, and this year has been amazing for me as I have read a lot of new books. However, now I am eager to learn something new. In 2024, I have planned to learn at least one new language, and I have chosen French. I have downloaded a few applications and bought some books that are helping me learn the basics of the language.”
