Review : Boonie Bears Guardian Code : Jollification for kids during the vacation!

It’s school vacation time and a lot of entertainment is available for them during the #summervacation. #Cartoons and animated films are their favourites and the ninth edition of Chinese animated film #BoonieBearsGuardianCode will definitely entertain them. The film manifests the adventurous journey of two bears to locate their mother who had abandoned them during a forest fire.

Briar and Bramble (Patrick Freeman and Joseph S Lambert respectively) venture out in search of their mother. Though Briar is a practical one, Bramble is considered an emotional fool as he is hopeful of finding their mother. While visiting a robot institute courtsey their logger friend Vick (Paul ‘Maxx’ Rinehart) they come across a young scientist, Charlotte (Olivia Seaton-Hill) who is in possession of the locket which belonged to their mother. They are hopeful that she’ll give clues to reach them to their mother. What happens after and around it forms the crux of the story.

The first half is good and the director uses humour to keep the viewers engrossed. The duo’s tryst with evil scientists, mechanical monsters and Android Mom is well etched out. Animation and special effects are of high quality which enhances the proceedings on the screen. The screenplay is formulaic but a few surprises in the second half are interesting. The voice acting by all the actors is excellent and is the highlight of the movie.

Boonie Bears Guardian Code is certainly jollification for kids during the vacation!
