‘Daringbaaz Film Festival’ by Zee Talkies
Movies have been an important part of our lives since time immemorial. While they are mostly made for recreational purposes, there are also those movies that have taken the route less traveled and dared to be different – from subject lines to themes or even the look and feel of the film. Zee Talkies brings to you five such movies that dared to be different with the Daringbaaz Film Festival that will air every day at 7 pm.
Lai Bhari is the first movie in the lineup that will air on 7th September. This action-packed drama film marked the debut of Ritesh Deshmukh in Marathi cinema and also stars Salman Khan and Genelia D’Souza in cameo roles. The next movie is the blockbuster film Sairat which is a short-lived love story that is destroyed because of hate. Starring Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar in their debuts, the movie is directed by Nagraj Manjule and has a popular music album. This movie will air on 8th September.
Directed by Pravin Tarde, and starring Mahesh Manjrekar, Mohan Joshi and Upendra Limaye the crime drama Mulshi Pattern is a must-watch. The 2018 film revolves around a family in Mulshi taluka of Pune district and will air on 9th September. ‘Majha Chakula’ based on the innocence and mischievous nature of Adinath will also be a part of the movie line-up, which will air on 10th September. Based on a real-life incident and directed by Milind Lele, the last movie in the line-up is Bandishala which will air on 11th September. The film stars Mukta Barve as a tough police officer along with Sharad Ponkshe, Umesh Jagtap, Anand Alkunte, Ananda Karekar, Pankaj Chemburkar, Krutika Gaikwad and others in supporting roles.
