The Godhra train burning incident occurred on the morning of 27 February 2002: 59 Hindu pilgrims and ‘#karsevaks’ returning from #Ayodhya were killed in a fire inside the #SabarmatiExpresse near the Godhra in the Indian state of #Gujarat. A movie on the incident titled ‘Accident or Conspiracy: GODHRA’ is hitting the dcreens on July 12, 2024.
As we know, since the release of its teaser, film has taken to the storm in the industry and faces various hurdles in the censor board. The censor board kept this film on hold for a long time through questioning the film at various stages of the film. Finally, the censor board has given the certification, and now it’s ready to be released in cinemas.
Bollywood actor Sharad Kelkar has announced its release date. The actor is urging people to see “Accident or Conspiracy: GODHRA” and revealing the new release date in a recently released teaser.
Setting a menacing tone, the first Godhra teaser opens with a striking picture of the Sabarmati Express engulfed in flames. This intense scene sets the stage for a story that explores the murky details of the deadly Godhra tragedy. The film explores a troubling period in history that still causes grief and begs questions more than twenty years later, going beyond simple amusement. Godhra pledges to dispel myths and preconceived notions in order to reveal the real story behind the occurrence. The film, which is produced by Om Trinetra Films, stars Rajeev Surti, Manoj Joshi, Hitu Kanodia, and Ranvir Shorey. The goal of this group of gifted performers is to bring the gripping story of a day that changed the path of history to life.
On this, producer B.J. Purohit quoted, “We’re working diligently to finalize the new release date for Godhra. Our priority is ensuring that the film reaches audiences at the right time and in the right manner. The censor certificate is a crucial step in the journey of Godhra. We have now met all necessary standards and finally gotten the censor certificate.”
“Accident or Conspiracy: GODHRA” promises an in-depth examination of the conspiracy underlying the horrifying train attack, together with engaging photography and conversation. The trailer asks viewers to reflect on the tragic past that continues to reverberate in the minds of people who saw the blazing train on that awful day.
