‘Shamshaan Champa’, a supernatural saga with a twist, to be on Shemaroo Umang, promo out!
The concept of ‘Shamshaan Champa’ is unlike anything viewers have seen before. For days, fans have speculated about a new show from #GulKhan in collaboration with #ShemarooUmang after her recent social media tease. The big news is finally out! Shemaroo Umang and Gul Khan have collaborated to bring a supernatural story with a twist, titled ‘Shamshaan Champa.’ The released promo left everyone in awe.
In the promo, we meet Champa played by Trupati Mishra on a dark, scary night, running for her life with a basket of Champa flowers. Chased by masked men with mashaal in their hands, Champa trips and falls. These men attack Champa, leaving her bruised and unconscious under a banyan tree. Just when all seems lost, a mysterious shadow heals her wounds. Champa comes back to life, transformed into a powerful daayan, with her nails and hair growing longer. As she walks, the crushed flowers revive. Watching from behind is the powerful daayan played by Monalisa. What is Champa’s story? The promo leaves viewers with these intriguing questions.
Speaking about the show and the collaboration with Shemaroo Umang, producer Gul Khan said, “I’m excited to return to the supernatural genre, but this time with a mind-blowing twist. ‘Shamshaan Champa’ will offer viewers a fresh perspective on Daayan unlike anything seen before. The concept of the show is a fusion of Romance and Fantasy. These genres are widely loved by Indian audiences, so we thought, why not merge them to bring something fresh and new? While people have only seen a sneak-peek of the show, one thing is certain: it’s going to be packed with entertainment, drama, emotions, and unexpected twists. I’m extremely happy to collaborate with Shemaroo Umang on this project and can’t wait for viewers to watch it.”
While much about the show, the cast, and the storyline remains under wraps, it’s clear that Shemaroo Umang and Gul Khan are poised to make waves in Indian television with ‘Shamshaan Champa.’
