‘Saajha Sindoor’ actor Stuti Vinkle says, “Even though I’m Gen Z, I love old-school gestures”!
With Friendship Day on the horizon, it’s time to reflect on the bonds that enrich our lives. Actress Stuti Vinkle, who plays Phooli in Sun Neo’s Saajha Sindoor, shares her cherished memories of Friendship Day and her personal views on the essence of friendship. Through heartfelt reflections and a glimpse into her celebrations, Stuti offers a fresh perspective on what makes this day truly special.
Sharing her fondest memory of Friendship Day, Stuti shared, “Yes, during school, a friend surprised me with a gift and a handwritten letter. There was a necklace and a letter. I really love handwritten letters—they feel very personal. I also wrote a few letters for my friends because, even though I’m Gen Z, I love old-school gestures.”
Reflecting on what friendship means to her, Stuti said, “For me, friendship is about having someone who supports you selflessly. There are no hidden agendas—it’s just pure and genuine. Besides Krutika and Bindiya Ma’am, I also have a great bond with our director, Nandita Mehra. Friendship doesn’t always depend on age; anyone can be your friend.”
Saajha Sindoor tells the poignant story of Phooli (Stuti Goyal), a young woman who becomes an unmarried widow when her groom dies on their wedding day. As Phooli navigates her difficult fate, viewers are left to wonder how her destiny will unfold and impact those around her. The series boasts a stellar cast including Sangita Ghosh, Sahil Uppal, Neelu Vaghela, and Krutika Desai, among others.
Watch Saajha Sindoor on Sun Neo, airing Monday to Saturday at 8 PM.
