Paresh Mokashi directorial ‘Vaalvi’ gets a National Film award!

Every year different language films are honoured with national awards. Recently the 70th National Awards have been announced and Paresh Mokashi directed film ‘#Vaalvi’ has been declared the ‘#BestMarathiFilm’.  Produced by Maysabha Karamanook Mandali, Zee Studios, the film stars Swwapnil Joshi, Anita Date, Subodh Bhave, Shivani Surve in lead roles. The film’s story, screenplay and dialogues  are by Paresh Mokashi and Madhugandha Kulkarni.

The word ‘Vaalvi’ is so negative. Yet a funny and introspective film with such a name has always been in the limelight not only in Marathi but also in other languages ​​due to its unique subject matter and setting. It was liked by the critics as well as the audience.  Paresh Mokashi always comes up with something innovative, quirky, and Vaalvi is one of the examples. This movie, which was the first thriller in Marathi, was a huge hit.
