Sushila-Sujit’, starring Swapnil Joshi and Prasad Oak, announced by unveiling the motion poster!

Leading Marathi actors #SwapnilJoshi and #PrasadOak recently exchanged good wishes for each other’s films, prompting excitement among #Marathicinema fans about the possibility of their collaboration. Shortly afterward, it was announced that they will indeed come together for the upcoming film ‘Sushila-Sujit.’

Prasad Oak praised Swapnil Joshi on social media highlighting the blockbuster success of ‘Navara Mazha Navsacha -2’ which was recently released. In return, Swapnil sent special wishes to Prasad for his film ‘Dharmveer 2’ which premiered on September 27. Beyond their professional ties, Swapnil and Prasad share a close friendship.

Fans were eager to see the two actors together on the silver screen following their social media exchange and expressed such wishes. Their wish is set to be fulfilled as ‘”Sushila-Sujit’ will have them together. Being produced by Big Brain Productions and Panchshil Entertainment, the details of the full cast are still kept under wraps.

This film marks the first collaboration among Prasad Oak, Swapnil Joshi, and cinematographer Sanjay Memane as producers. Prasad will serve as the director and Memane as cinematographer and the combination of these talented individuals is expected to yield impressive results. Manjiri Oak and Nilesh Rathi are other producers of the film, with the screenplay and dialogues written by Ajay Kamble. The film is slated for release in 2025.

Swapnil noted, “Even though the film is titled ‘Sushila-Sujit,’ the experience of watching the name will be far more enjoyable than just hearing or reading about it. You’ll understand the fun once you see the poster.”

Swapnil Joshi is recognized as a leading actor in Marathi, Hindi cinema and TV shows, with a diverse portfolio that includes films like Duniyadari, Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai, Mangalashtak Once More, and notable Hindi films such as Ghulam-e-Mustafa and Dil Will Pyaar Vyaar, Life Zindagi among others. He also has produced several films.

Prasad Oak has an extensive background in theatre, films and television, having worked on popular projects like Rama Madhav, Baalkadu, Chiranjeev, Farzand, Kshan, Tee Ratra, Ek Daav Dhobipachhad, Hirkani, Dharmaveer etc. Many of his TV shows including Pimpalpan, Abhalmaya, Hum to Tere Ashique Hai, Crime Patrol made him the household name. He has also directed films such as Kachha Limboo, Hirakani, chandramukha and Vadapaav. He has acted in plays like Wada Chirebandi, Magna Talyakaathi, Bechaki, Ranagan, Aaltun Paltun among others.
