Kiara Advani Signs ‘Shakti Shalini’, Written by ‘Gullak’ Fame Durgesh Singh!

#MaddockFilms has announced 8 films for the new year, including Shakti Shalini. The film will be part of Maddock’s horror-comedy universe, starring Kiara Advani in the lead role. #ShaktiShalini will be directed by #AijitPalSingh, known for Tubbar, and written by #DurgeshSingh, fame of Gullak series.

Sources close to Shakti Shalini revealed that Durgesh has been working on the story with Maddock’s Dinesh Vijan and #AmarKaushik for over a year. Kiara was narrated the film by Durgesh himself, and she agreed to do the film after the first narration. She also expressed her excitement to work on the project.

The film is set against the backdrop of the Chambal region. The makers want to shoot the film in real locations, just like Stree. The technical team has started scouting for locations, and the film is expected to go into production soon.
