Eerie locations in fantasy horror shows on &TV
Fear is one of the core elements of any supernatural or a horror genre, and a right location helps you in getting your horror game right! Location shooting provides a real-world setting than a sound backlot. And when it comes to supernatural thriller and fantasy horrors, locations can offer an excellent medium for instilling and bringing alive a sense of fear. Such is the case with &TV’s supernatural fantasy show, Laal Ishq. The makers have many times shot at locations, considered erstwhile spooky or eerie. One such being Cheena Creek near Mira Road, Trimurti Studio near Dahisar, an abandoned old Haveli, and many more that have often sent chills down their spine with several spooky stories unravelling while rolling.
Speaking about shooting at these spooky locations, Richa Yami commented, “Creating a fantasy horror is quite challenging but equally rewarding too. Location undoubtedly plays a crucial role, adding a real-world spookiness into the entire story premise. While we have not shot at many haunted places, but we have had our share of spooky locations with equally eerie real experiences by the cast and crew. Such locations make the entire shooting experience and the actual plot quite intriguing and interesting, especially on-screen. Also, the off-screen experiences add to more authentic on-screen portrayals.”
Building on its spooky narrative, scary monsters, and eerie locations and setups, the show is airing chilling tales of revenge this September.
