Pooja Birari says, ‘Kadambari’s character in Almost Sufal Sampurn has many shades’

Almost Sufal Sampurn narrates the story of simple love story between foreign returned Nachiket and tradition loving Sai, who grew up in a middle class house in Mumbai. The story of the serial unfolds in the context of the friendship, attraction and subsequent love between the two, who grew up in a two-way contrasting environment. But now there is a twist in it and this twist is brought by a special friend from Nachiket from Australia. When Caddy come to Nachiket’s house, many things changed. Actress Puja Birari is playing the role of this happy go lucky Caddy in the serial.

Puja was last seen in ‘Saajna’ wherein she played a docile Rama. Talking about the role, Puja looks very enthusiastic and says, “You have seen me play the role of Rama in a very simple way before. And now, in Almost Sufal Sampurn I am playing the opposite of Rama. For me, both the roles of Rama and the Kadambari are very close to my heart.”

Puja goes on to say, “Caddy is today’s girl with progressive thinking. She’s very funny. She’s fun. I researched a lot before coming on set. Though the role of Candy is challenging I am confident of taking on the challenge. Let’s see how it pans out.” “My previous concluded and the lockdown started right after, so I was missing shooting a lot. But luckily I got this new serial within months. Now the lockdown is eased a bit but we do take all the necessary precautions” adds Puja. Our shooting is in full swing. I liked Caddy’s personality very much. It has a lot of shades, so I said yes as soon as I heard the script. Luckily i know most of the cast members and it helps during working. All of us have a lot of fun during shoots.”

“My experience is that working with friends makes your work more efficiently, which is evidenced by the positive response Caddy is getting from the audience,” said Puja. This love triangle of Caddy, Nachiket and Sai and Appa’s bitter behaviour makes the serial more interesting watch. It will be interesting to see what new colour Caddy’s personality adds to it and what new twists are in the offing in the serial.
