IDRAGON, a VOD app, garners 60+ Million unique users across different Social Media platforms

Lockdown has become the bane of socialising, outings and fun days. Biggest saviors and best friend for people during this time has been the OTT platforms. Everybody is hooked onto various OTT platforms seeking entertainment and staying sane.

IDRAGON,(India  Dragon)  a VOD app, was born and it reached its early adulthood during this time. Within three months of its launch this app has already has a target reach of 1.3 billion people with 3 million (30 lakhs) subscriber base and 60+ Million unique users across different Social Media platforms in English and 11 hybrid languages.

It’s the biggest brand on IDRAGON. We are different than other OTT platform in selection of films and New Technology. For example Bollywood content is flooded on multi platforms while  we have created a new age content and concentrated more on all sorts of  wide Asian content from countries like Taiwan, Korea, Japan and also Hollywood which our user base follows crazily,” says Surendra Singh – Founder, IDRAGON while adding that “we will add Indian content too but our styling and indianisation of this new  content in more than 11 Indian languages has created new trends and breakthrough with massive followership and anticipation among the Indian audiences.”

Their brands on the Idragon platform range from Hollywood award winning content like  The Tiger, The King’s Speech (Oscar Winner), Momento (Oscar Winner),  to Mass blockbusters like ‘The Monkey King’ 1 & 2, Wukong, and many more. Idragon’s forthcoming attractions in October 2020 are Suryabali, a 500 crore budget film with production and scale of Bahubali 1 & 2 , while their Most awaited franchisee title ‘The Monkey King 3’ is in dubbing stage in 11 languages and which has more than 300 million followers in India besides other films.

“We along with our tech company Aeon are creating a New Ecosystem and technology  of Video  share, ad tech and streaming to take on  the USA biggies like Google, Amazon,  Netflix as we know the pulse of the Indian user much  better” Says Surendra. Also several  advance short form and long form video apps,  where users can make money, are on their way of launch next.
