Shabby!
This film is a staid, linear and outdated tale of Neha Singh (Kritika Sachdeva), a young girl from Bhopal who , after completing her studies, Neha moves away to Mumbai against in order to avoid marriage and against her father’s wishes .She meets a businessman Ritesh (Indraneil Sengupta) who is willing to produce a small budget film with her and falls for him being oblivious to the fact that he is a married man with a kid. When things become worse for her when she faces professional rejections, she goes into depression and what happens next is what BA Pass is all about.
PLUS POINT:
Kritika Sachdeva plays her part to perfection. She displays what her director envisages her to portray. She is aptly supported by Sasho Satiiysh Saarathy as Vijay, his transformation from an ever obliging estate agent to a spiteful conniving husband, is worth a watch.
MINUS POINT
This is a run-of-the-mill predictable saga about a small-town girl and her close encounters with the big bad world of small-time modelling, TV and films. It is by no means a sequel of the hit B.A Pass as the name implies. This one lacks on sexual content as was implied, which might disappoint the viewers who were expecting a titillating affair
VERDICT
The slow motion pacing, the stilted acting and the caricaturist acting makes this a shabby and boring expose on Bollywood’s underbelly.
