‘I give an option and an explanation to actors who mostly follow my lead’ informs Florian Hurel

French hair and makeup stylist Florian Hurel has worked in the industry with biggies like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma, Vidya Balan, Sara Ali Khan, and Neha Dhupia, to name a few. He said while working with a celebrity he gives them options, but actors mostly follow his lead.

 

When asked what he does when someone asks for something that won’t suit them, he said, “I mostly give an option and give an explanation to it. But actors mostly follow my lead.”

 

Talking about the favourite thing about his job, he confessed, “I love working with different actors. I used to dream of traveling through the job and now I am on a plane every week once.”

 

Florian also shared his signature look and said, “My signature look would be keeping the makeup very natural and enhance the beauty part of a face. I love keeping the skin breathing and not compact. Actors love keeping things simple and natural nowadays, less is more. Beautiful lashes nude lips work the best with of course a nice dewy skin.”

 

The ace hair and makeup stylist also gave some hair and skin tips, and said, “I would recommend keeping your skin as natural as it is and to keep hydrating it. For hair, lesser chemicals would be the best, like straightening over colouring. Sleep with a night mask on and do hair spa even at home. Also, massage your face and hair with the right products.”

 

Lastly, when asked for a hair secret one should know about, Florian said, “Hair extensions are the secret that one should know.”
