Arslan Goni confesses, ‘Shahrukh Khan from Chaiyan Chaiyan song inspired me to be a Bollywood actor’!
Arslan Goni, the “Haq Se 2” and “Jia Aur Jia” actor has convinced us that acting is indeed his cup of tea, through his previous few films and series. Arslan Goni’s career boosted right after his debut in the 2017 film “Jia Aur Jia” with actress Kalki Koechlin and Richa Chadha, which was a hit, directed by Howard Rosemeyer. Arslan Goni is a content-driven actor and hence he is exploring the OTT platform.
It is not just the livelihood he is acting for but also the inspiration and motivation he had, to take up acting. Expressing what motivated him for acting Arslan Goni said, “The first time I saw “Chaiyaan Chaiyaan” I was in class in 9th and I was fascinated by Shah Rukh Khan and I decided that I wanted to be an actor”.
Arslan Goni added, “I was in class 9th when I saw “Dil Se” and remember it was in Ludhiana …. my father and my cousin …. my father had brought me back from my boarding school for a weekend … and as I entered the theatre the song was just starting and I was just mesmerised. That was the first time I felt like I wanted to be an actor”.
Arslan Goni has signed a web series, “Main Hero Boll Raha Hoon” with Alt Balaji, which is said to be directed by Siddhartha Luther . In this web series, Arslan Goni will be seen in the character of a gangster, about which he said, “I am playing the role of a don, who is a grey shaded character. He is very eccentric, loud, and a big-time trouble-maker. It was very interesting playing this character as I have never ventured into something like this before. I absolutely loved the creative freedom I had while playing this character, thanks to my director Siddhartha Luther.”
