Ajay Kumar Singh says, ‘After attaining stardom, to cut off from closed ones leads to loneliness’!
Actor-producer Ajay Kumar Singh of “Love Games” and “Family of Thakurganj” fame believes by and large people cut off ties from their closed ones after achieving success and fame and this leads to loneliness and mental stress. He says in the process of becoming a star one can possibly get disconnected with their family and friends and in times of despair they don’t have anyone to talk to and this Ajay thinks could be the main reason behind celebrities committing suicide.
“When they (celebrities) enter the industry, achieve success, fame they get cut off from their closed ones and due to this they don’t have anyone to talk to and hence they feel lonely. If we don’t talk or share feelings with our closed ones we’ll get mentally stressed,” he says. For keeping your mental health sound, Ajay says one should stay connected with family and close friends and unburden their heart in front of them, besides meditating.
He says every industry has stress-related issues but in the entertainment industry there is a different kind of pressure, which is to get love and acceptance from the audience. “In the entertainment industry, we have one such fear that what we are performing will the audience like it or not. Similarly, we have the pressure if the film releases on Friday will the audience like it or not,” he explains. On the work front, Ajay is producing and acting in four films, which is a remake of a Spanish movie “Julia’s Eyes” in Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, and Tamil – all of them are currently in the filming stage.
