Dance Deewane

Dance Deewane celebrates dance irrespective of any other thing

Colors’ unique dance reality show Dance Deewane is back with a new season that promises to be more entertaining and showcase great talent. The show provides a platform for dance enthusiasts across three generations to fulfil their dreams and showcase their talent.

The team of Dance Deewane has reached out to all corners of India to search for talented dancers and have selected the best performers who will showcase their magical moves on the show. These talents, from the hinterlands of India, will be mentored and trained by the amazing judges panel comprising of Madhuri Dixit, Dharmesh Yelande and Tushar Kalia

In this season of Dance Deewane, the audience will witness some incredible stories of contestants who are economically challenged but have high aspirations to make it big in the world of dance. One such contestant is Uday from a small village in Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh who works as a goods loader at a farm and comes from a humble background.

Because of financial restrictions, he couldn’t study but his love for dance kept him coming. While he did not own a TV set, he would go to watch television shows by going to others’ houses and picking up dance moves. His video recently got viral and the Dance Deewane team tracked him down. It was for the first time that Uday travelled on a concrete road while coming to  Mumbai.

Little did Uday know that his life will change forever and he will get to be trained by the stalwarts of dance. There will be similar heartwarming stories of contestants who come from all strata of society. Right from 6-year-old Sohail Khan who hails from Aligarh, loves to study English and wants to become Tiger Shroff to 44-year-old Jamna who forgot her dreams to dance and got busy with her family.

Dance Deewane has given hope to these dreams which were almost crushed and a platform for all the Dance Deewane to show their best talent.

Dance Deewane started on  27th February 2021, and airs Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm on Colors.
