Religiousness helps maintain mental health for Prashant Bajaj!

Actor Prashant Bajaj, best known for shows like “Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah”, “Ayushmann Bhava”, says mental peace is necessary in life and that there are ways to overcome mental health issues.

In life, Prashant says one must find ways to stay happy as nothing matters more, not even financial stability. “Anything that’s leads to suicide is a deep case of mental health. This is a life given by god and anything which is good for you will fall in place so don’t over think much and try to be happy in whatever you have got as there are many people who don’t even get three time’s food at least you are blessed to get food on time,” Prashant says.

He asserts a good mental health always keeps a person in peace. “People must realise the importance of mental health before the situation worsens. I have seen people with lots of money but they don’t have mental peace and are not happy,” he observes. The talented actor thinks the entertainment industry is targeted with respect to grave issues like depression and anxiety.

For good mental health, Prashant says meditation works best and also visit to any religious place too has a calming effect on the mind. “Personally, I have been meditating for many years and it’s amazing. I also go to Mahakal temple in Ujjain and do lord shiva abhishek (way of offering respect to Shiva by pouring water or milk over the lingam or the shivling) it keeps me in peace. I try to recite maha mrityunjaya mantra (removes fears, wards off calamities, prevents untimely death and bestows longevity),” he adds.
