Four top heroines of Marathi entertainment industry celebrate International Women’s Day with Planet Marathi

8th March is celebrated as an International Women’s Day which is like a festival of femininity.  All over the world Women’s Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm at all levels, in all areas. Women’s Day is a day to pay a grateful salute to every woman’s self-esteem, her accomplishments. Entertainment arena is no exception. Leading heroines of Marathi entertainment world came together and celebrated this day on the occasion of Women’s Day.

Planet Talent, which is a part of Planet Marathi, celebrated this year’s Women’s Day with much fanfare. Actresses like Tejaswini Pandit, Prajakta Mali, Gayatri Datar, Bhargavi Chiramule were present during these festivities. Even Sonali Kulkarni made a brief appearance on this occasion. Apart from this, Planet Talent’s celebrity count also includes Amrita Khanwilkar, Sayali Sanjeev, Shivani Baokar etc.  The stars present at the event chatted with the media, shared some of their experiences, played games, and had a lot of fun.  Some even expressed about the important women in their lives.

The celebration started with cutting of cake. Akshay Bardapurkar of Planet Marathi, along with Sanjay Jadhav, Pushkar Shrotri were present on the occasion. Commenting on the event, Akshay Bardapurkar said, “In fact, Women’s Day should be celebrated on a daily basis and not just for one day. Every woman, be it a little girl, should be treated with respect and thoughtfulness. On Women’s Day we wanted to do something special to honour and pamper the women in our ‘Talent’ family.”
