‘AKNNS’ actor Saee Barve says that concept driven shows are offering geater opportunities to talented actors!
#SaeeBarve, who has acted previously in a Gujarati show, feels blessed to be part of Hindi show, “#AapkiNazronNeSamjha” (#AKNNS) produced by #FullHouseMedia (Sonali and #AmirJaffar), which she feels is a beautiful and special love story of Darsh (Vijayendra Kumeria) and Nandini (Richa Rathore).
With newer and better concept-driven shows being created on television, actor Saee Barve feels this has also led to greater opportunities for talented actors in a daily soap.
“Nowadays shows are getting better and better. Concepts are improving. They (writers) are thinking beyond Saas bahu sagas. Shows are surely improving and there is a lot of scope for talented actors in a daily soap now,” she says. Saee thinks her Amir and Sonali Jaffar-produced show “Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha” also stands out, as it focuses on a mother-son relationship and at heart it is a beautiful love story of a disabled but talented guy.
In her debut Hindi show, Saee plays the character of Parul, a happy-go-lucky daughter-in-law. Talking about her role, the actor says, “For Parul, her family comes first to her. She can go to any extent to make her family happy. Parul is a bridge between Darsh and Nandini’s love story,” she says, adding, in real life, she is also a homely girl. The actor is delighted to have received immense love and affection from her fans on social media.
Saee says she is indebted to producers Sonali and Amir Jaffar for giving her the opportunity to play the role of Parul in their show “Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha”. Working amid the coronavirus pandemic, Saee says, every day is risky. “More than myself I get worried for my mom. But on set we take the best of safety measures and precautions,” she says. Meanwhile, when asked if not an actor what she would be, Saee promptly responds, a play writer.
Having assisted the late legendary writer-director-actor Neeraj Vora on writing for his films like “Bhagam Bhag”, “Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal”- both directed by Priyadarshan, Saee independently creates amusing content on her own YouTube channel, in her free time. She has also penned a song for Priyadarshan’s film “Malamaal Weekly”. “I have adapted a Marathi play into Gujarati. I have my own YouTube channel called SAEE HAI where I post funny videos, in which I perform different characters, post funny videos, written, directed, edited and acted by me,” Saee concludes.
