What made you pick the dress you are wearing?
Karthik: This dress we are in is the costume for the show and the most uncomfortable such that we hate it.
Vishnu: But on any occasion we love to be in casuals mostly being comfortable Zara clothing.
Who would you take on a date on space and why?
Allboys: We would preferably sit alone on another planet and sip a glass of wine while watching the solar system from a totally different perspective rather than taking someone out on a date.
Karthik: when in space, I would rather enjoy the company of astronauts and explore the unexplored rather than wasting my time dating someone whom I can meet on earth itself.
What projects you are currently working on? Which project is going to release first in the coming days?
Allboys: We are working on our most awaited YouTube series coming soon.
Which celebrities you believe are the most influential?
Allboys: We believe in Sir Narendra Modi. He has influenced not just MJ5, but the society at large.
On what do you spend the most: clothes, accessories, perfumes, underwear, or anything else?
Karthik: If I will tell the details, the income tax department might seize all your clothes, accessories, etc., because I spend a fortune on them every weekend.
Rohit: However,we have been planning to launch your own brand of apparels and accessories and would rather make people spend on it.
Are you a bathroom singer?
All boys: What happens behind the closed doors of bathroom, dies there itself.
Whom do you love more, your parents, friends, spouse, kids, siblings, or yourself?
Karthik: There is an equal room for every friend and family member. You can simply drop in at home someday and see for yourself as to whom do we love the most.
What do you do when not working?
All boys: We spend most of the time listening to music or watching YouTube.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
Karthik: (sighs)No!!!
Where do you see yourself in the market competition?
Karthik: We see ourselves way ahead of time. The style of dance we do is called as animation style and we don’t see people are ready for such advance dancing style yet. Say for Bollywood itself, we have not bagged any chance to choreograph our style because Bollywood is still not ready for such advance technique of dancing!
Where do you think you will be after 25 years?
Karthik: Why don’t we get interviewed once again after 25 years to know it! However, our future plans are to be in Amsterdam running our own dance academy.
How did this concept of a boys group incept?
Karthik: I had this cut-throat passion for dancing. So much so that I knew nothing ahead of it. Now, since I know nothing ahead of it, I did not know what to do with it! That is where my brother (Nitish) showed me a vision and a path to follow. So I grabbed on my good friend and 3 boys and 15 days before our first national television reality dance championship “Indian Dancing Superstar” we formed a group and here we are today!!!
Has there been any rift in the group? (as we well know that it is difficult to sustain as a group due to differences arising amongst the members which is a human tendency)
Karthik: Of course there are rifts. Not all 5 fingers are alike. Same applies to 5 young boys, all having their own way of thinking.
When I started to build the group, it was with Shraey Khanna but eventually he left due to his personal reasons and Dennis was introduced. Since then however there has not been any rift or differences.
The most difficult phase faced in the past after the formation of MJ5
Karthik: The real difficult phase was as I mentioned when Shraey left the group and we were no more 5 as we claim to be MJ5! We had to quickly pick a member who would possess the same skill set and style. We were lucky here! We found Dennis!!!
What would you be doing if you weren’t MJ5 or weren’t dancing?
We would beat NASA!!!

Why haven’t you been into choreography into Bollywood
Like we mentioned before, Bollywood isn’t ready for such advanced style of dancing and we are way ahead of time. If you hit moon walk on any digital video portal you shall find so many people attempting the same but not so much in India. Our speciality is the animation style dancing and the Michael Jackson style. But we believe, we shall soon be picked up. We wish to choreography Madhuri Dixit though!!!
