Chandni Soni advices that people should take double precautions this time as the second wave of Covid-19 is worse than the first one!
Chandni Soni recently co-produced Rashami Desai and Tanuj Virwani’s “Tandoor” and is also working on the second season of “Raktanchal”. Chandni, whose hometown is Delhi, said, “The Covid scenario in Delhi is as scary as it is in Mumbai. The hospitals are flooded with Covid patients searching for beds and treatment.The second wave is turning out to be much worse than the first one.” She also asserted that even after the vaccinations people should follow all safety measures, and said, “Besides vaccination I think the only solution is to wear mask and maintain social distancing. We need to remain inside our homes to break the chain.”
The second wave of Covid-19 is dangerous than the first one. Looking at the rise in the number of cases, the Maharashtra government announced a statewide lockdown for 15 days, soon the Delhi government too imposed a complete curfew for a week starting April 19. Producer Chandni Soni stressed that we should take double precautions this time as the second wave is worse than the first one.
“Obviously there’s panic in the public but that won’t help. We need to handle it collectively with all the precautions and guidelines given by the authorities. And like everything else ‘This too shall pass’,” she concluded.
