Pruthviraj is 'crowned' by Farah Khan

Pruthviraj is ‘crowned’ by Farah Khan on ‘SD-C4’!

What’s in a name? Everything, according to Super Dancer – Chapter 4 contestant Pruthviraj Konagri’s father who believes a person’s name has a huge influence on his or her life. He named his son Pruthviraj in the hope that someday he will rule the world.
The 10-year-old talent owned the Super Dancer – Chapter 4 stage like a king when he danced to Shah Rukh Khan’s “Haule haule” with his ‘guru’ Subhranil Paul, which will air this weekend. Pruthviraj’s ‘superrr se bhi uperrr’ expressions and fluid movements left the judges – Geeta Kapur and guest judges Remo D’Souza and Farah Khan so impressed that they went beyond a standing ovation for him.
While special guest Remo D’Souza climbed the ‘seedhi’ as a mark of his appreciation, Farah Khan gave her own twist in trying to make Pruthviraj’s father’s dream come true by actually making him wear a crown! Pruthviraj’s command over his expressions reminded Farah of her favourite Bollywood dancer, Govinda. “You’re like Chhota Govinda,” she said, adding “Your expressions were amazing, and it really takes a veteran to do all those things. So, I would like to come and give you something,” Farah said, before she ‘crowned’ the little wonder.
“You performed like a raja… This was a Raja waala performance,” she said as Pruthviraj looked thrilled by her gesture. He blew a flying kiss towards his father, who watched his performance and the ‘crowning’ via a video call.
Judge Geeta Kapur lauded Pruthviraj’s performance, saying that she would always pray that he continues to perform well, and he earns recognition as Pruthviraj, the Super Dancer.
Super Dancer – Chapter 4, airs on every Saturday and Sunday at 8.00 pm on Sony Entertainment Television.
