Madhuri dixit and karan johar collaborate for bucket list
After presenting the Hindi version of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali films, Karan Johar and AA Films now collaborate to present Madhuri Dixit’s debut Marathi film, Bucket List slated to release on 25th May, 2018. The collaboration marks Dharma Productions’ grand entry in the Marathi Film Industry. Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar and produced by Jamashp Bapuna and Amit Parikh of Dark Horse Cinemas Pvt. Ltd., Arun Rangachari and Vivek Rangachari of DAR Motion Pictures., and Aarti Subhedar and Ashok Subhedar of Blue Mustang Creations Pvt. Ltd., Bucket List is a story of every woman who has unfulfilled dreams in life and will get inspired after watching this heart-warming film. It is a slice of life story taking you through journey of self discovery.Karan Johar says, “I’ve been a staunch believer in regional cinema and since Baahubali, I am confident that good cinema with a great platform breaks the barrier of language. Moreover, the opportunity to launch Madhuri Dixit in her mother language is my absolute pleasure. ” Madhuri, who will soon start shooting for Karan’s next production directed by Abhishek Varman, is elated about the filmmaker backing her debut Marathi film. “I was longing to work in a Marathi Film and with Bucket List my wish is getting fulfilled. The actress had also appeared in a special song “Ghagra” in Karan’s Ranbir Kapoor- Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013).Bucket List also marks Madhuri’s reunion with her Hum Aapke Hain Koun co-star Renuka Shahane and also features popular actors Sumeet Raghavan, Shubha Khote, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Vandana Gupte, Ila Bhate, Pradeep Velankar and Milind Pathak in pivotal roles.
