Rajveer Singh Gaur says that it was not very difficult for him to get the fatherly e motions in ‘Billu’s Fight’!

#FNPMedia’s short film “#BillusFight” has finally hit the tube. Directed by #MayankTripathi, the movie features #LaviTyagi, #RajveerSinghGaur and #TarunaSingh in key roles. It revolves around a young boy, who participates in a ‘#Kabutarbazi’ competition to pay off his father’s debts.

Rajveer plays Lavi’s father in the film and said it was not very difficult for him to get the fatherly emotions. “I was doing theatre for many years, and have played the role of a father before. When I started working with Lavi, I started working as a teacher with him, because he didn’t have that experience, and I shared it with him. He worked really hard. He used to go to school, give exams and then come to us and shoot for the film, so it was a great experience,” he said.

The actor shared that the story is any father’s dream, but soon realised it was the child’s struggle and the title was just perfect. He plays a farmer in the film, and the movie focusses on the challenges farmers have to face in our country, Rajveer said that attracted him to his character.

“We come across the news of farmers suicide frequently, imagine the ones who provide food to us are taking their own life because of us. The movie also points out the struggle of a farmer where they’re not left with an option but to take their own life. That attracted me to the character and I relate to it because I feel as a human we all have the right to live,” he said.

Rajveer feels that the short film format is interesting as it always conveys a message and it doesn’t need a big budget. He added, “As an actor I feel in today’s time it’s very difficult to convey a message through a short film because the duration is very less, and we need good actors and even better content for it.”

Sharing his experience of working with FNP Media, Rajveer said, “Working with FNP has a whole different vibe. It was a great experience. The director Mayank Tripathi is a very good man, he keeps finding new people for the role.”
