India’s first ‘#MsInternationalWorld2021’ is Dr Akshata Prabhu!
For the first time ever India wins the Ms. International World Pageant in USA. Mumbai based #DrAkshataPrabhu, a Pediatric Dentist, a CEO, a wife, and a mother to a 5-year-old girl, was crowned Ms. International World 2021, sculpting a new narrative and keeping the torch of global pageant recognition for India lit.
Dr Akshata Prabhu Puranik, besides, being a Pediatric Dentist is a National Speaker, Researcher, Author as well as an Entrepreneur. Akshata is married to Dr Swaroop Puranik, two time winner of Iron Man contest, and the couple has a beautiful girl, Mirka. All of them flew to America, as Akshata was to take part in the prestigious ‘Ms. International World 2021’ representing India officially. After numerous rounds including question-answer round Dr Akshata was declared as an unanimous winner.The glamour world is not new to Akshata. She was part of the entertainment industry in her teens. She has done numerous advertisements and has hosted a couple of television shows. She has acted in a couple of movies too. But Akshata was always inclined on academics and concentrated on studies to become a doctor. She has specialised in child dentistry and is a Pediatric Dentist as well as a professor. In recent times she has been grooming aspirants for beauty contests. Her mother Amrita Prabhu too has taken pains for her daughter for where she has reached today.
Akshata is heavy on social obligations too. She has been a Pageant Queen and a Dentist too. While displaying her philanthropic ways she comments, “As an individual and as a Pageant Queen 
, I’ve always contributed to the society. I’ve raised funds and spoken for various causes like Child Education, Treatment for Cancer in Children, Post Partum Depression & Maternal Well Being and most importantly, Women Empowerment. Last year, along with Ironman Swaroop Puranik I was able to co-found my own Non-Profit Organization #DreamandBelieveFoundation registered with the Govt of India and help so many lives in this Covid-afflicted era.”

Ms International World pageant was held at Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line and the entire show was designed and directed by Susmita Patel of SP FashionDirect LLC. Ms International World pageant’s CEO Angela Posillico thanked everyone who worked hard in Covid times to make this show a success.
