#KanupriyaPandit roped in to play Priya’s mother in ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Season – 2’!

The reboot of #SonyEntertainmentTelevision’s iconic TV show ‘#BadeAchheLagteHain’ is the talk of the town these days. The season 2 of the show will explore the dynamics of two individuals in their mid thirties, who gradually find a way to love one another after their marriage. Disha Parmar and Nakul Verma are going to play the roles of ‘Priya’ and ‘Ram’. Producer Ekta Kapoor has discussed how she feels honoured to reprise the show after 10 years and shared how she’s been really meaning to tell a story about the loneliness among the 30 plus urban youth.

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is a family drama that revolves not only around two individuals ‘Ram’ and ‘Priya’ but also centres around their respective families. For one of the pivotal roles of lead protagonist’s i.e Priya’s mother ‘Meera’, the makers have roped in veteran actress ‘Kanupriya Pandit’. Considering how actress Kanupriya Pandit has proven her mettle time and again as a seasoned actor not just in the television industry but also in bollywood, she is believed to be right fit to play such a pivotal role.

Sharing more on the same, actress Kanupriya Pandit said, “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is my all time favourite show. I remember never missing an episode! When I initially heard that the show is being remade, I was so excited and then, when I was approached for it, my happiness knew no bounds! Life’s come a full circle. A cult favourite- it’s an honor to be a part of such an immensely loved show. With a bated breath, I hope that the viewers shower us with as much love and admiration as they have always continued to do so.”
