noo-gah! join forces with the youth to start a dialogue on the ‘Power of Opini ons in the Digital World’!

Recognising the spirit of the young, #NooGah!, an equal opportunity opinion aggregator social media platform held a virtual event to initiate an open dialogue with college students pan India on ‘#PowerOfOpinionsInTheDigitalWorld’ and the reverberating effects they have in the society.

Around 800+ students from major metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata among others, were a part of this interactive discussion.

noo-gah!, is a new age social media platform incorporating gamification elements and loyalty rewards for its users. It is the brainchild of two distinct personalities from opposite ends of the spectrum in age and experience. On one end is a veteran strategist for global brands, Sanjai Velayudhan with 23-year diverse experience and on the other end is Nakshatra Sanjai, a dynamic GEN Z, 20-year-old, design student. noo-gah! aims at gathering the restrained voices and providing everyone with an equal opportunity to speak up. The brand noo-gah! with a pioneering idea, is heading towards becoming one of the most promising platforms in the social media space.

The discussion commenced with Nakshatra and Sanjai, throwing light on the need for a streamlined platform to share ideas and leverage the power that the youth hold. The open discussion saw an influx of various questions from the young minds. Many of them wanted to know how powerful opinions actually are and if they would make an impact on today’s world. The audience and the host mutually recognised the need for a streamlined platform for these opinions to break through the social media clutter.

This outreach resulted in a positive response with a rise in downloads and video uploads on the platform pertaining to varied topics and exchange of interesting ideas. Post the discussion, the app saw an eager audience with a 50 percent increase in app users from the event.

Commenting on the event, Sanjai Velayudhan, Founder at noo-gah! said, “The youth are an important part of any progressing society, it is important we give them a platform that lets them express their opinions freely and fearlessly. With the college outreach event, our aim was to get students talking about the power that opinions hold and to persuade them to speak up. ”
