Sneh Binny says, ‘Dubai is considered a happy place as it has everything you need in terms of luxury, food, quality of life’!
Jewellery and diamond entrepreneur #SnehBinny shares a special connection with Dubai. He travels there quite a number of times for work and also to meet friends and relatives.
“I was not born and raised in Dubai. I keep going there for work and such related activities or sometimes it’s a leisure trip, especially for shopping. I have relatives and friends in the city as well. Dubai is considered a happy place to live and shop because there is everything you need there. There are endless things that you can do there. You can taste multiple cuisines from across the world, travel, do some high adrenaline activities,” he says.
Rules and regulations in Dubai are strict and Sneh feels that it’s another plus of the city. “People think twice before going against the law. I think that’s what rules are meant for, and that’s how a place like Dubai that has so many different cultures can get along with respecting each and every culture and person there. They are all living in peace, maintaining sanity,” adds the co-owner of Delhi Binny’s Brigade, a part of the Tennis Premier League (TPL).
About the places he loves the most in Dubai and would also recommend someone who is visiting the city for the first time, Sneh mentions the name of Jumeirah Beach Residence or JBR first.
“Whenever I am in Dubai, I try to stay there. That area is always lively. There are a lot of people there. It’s touristy and there’s a beautiful beach where something or the other is happening every day, day and night. That area is definitely fun. Other than JBR, Palm Jumeirah is also beautiful. One can also visit Burj Khalifa, the beautiful malls, try desert safari etc. People think Dubai doesn’t have mountains but it does. I would also recommend visiting Hatta, where you can experience beautiful mountains and fields. One should also try all the fun activities there,” he says.
Migration to Dubai from all over the world is the maximum. When asked why does that happen and what are the advantages in living in the city, Sneh explains, “I think that’s because Dubai has everything you need in terms of luxury, food, quality of life and so on. It’s not so expensive to buy a house or a car or whatever things that you’d need compared to India or any other country as they don’t really have taxes. They just have VAT so that’s what keeps things cheap. They are heavily based on technology, so everything is quite easy there. Dubai is open to immigrants and has favorable laws for them.”
