Herumb Khot says, ‘Not just the tracks around festivals, track s based on weddings and related occasions also grab eyeballs’!
Festive sequences and tracks in TV shows generate interest. Agreeing, engineer and fashion photographer turned director-producer #HerumbKhot says that the audiences love to see their favourite characters all dressed up in festive spirit.
“The song and dance sequences around the festive season add value to the storyline and drama. And the reason being audiences probably live their fantasies through the characters they love and relate to. Not only glamour, such sequences also provide opportunities to add a new twist to the plot, leading to creating more drama and interest,” he says. Herumb also feels festive sequences on both fiction and non-fiction shows lead TRP ratings to go up as the viewers’ interest escalates.
Elaborating more on why he thinks such glamorized sequences work well for daily soaps, he adds, “They allow people to watch what they want or wanted to do in their lives. Not just the tracks around festivals, tracks based on weddings and related occasions also grab eyeballs. After all, it’s all about entertainment.”
