‘Mumbaicha Mulga’ Akash Tamedkar garners rewarding comments from all the judges for an urban dance style on ‘Desi Boyz’!

#SonyEntertainmentTelevision’s popular dance reality show, ‘#IndiasBestDancer2’ recently crowned its ‘#BestBarah’ on their larger-than life ’#GrandPremiere’. Now, the real battle has begun to scout India’s #BestKaNextAvatar amongst the extra-ordinarily talented contestants.

The upcoming weekend, keeping the spark and competitive spirit high, the contestants will be seen performing some mind-blowing dance acts that will sweep the judges aka E.N.T (Entertainment, Newness and Technique) specialists – Geeta Kapur, Malaika Arora and Terence Lewis off their feet. One such performance that will stand out will be ofour very own, ‘Mumbaicha Mulga’ ‘Akash Tamedkar’ who along with his choreographer ‘Tushar Shetty’ will give a top-notch entertaining act on the title track of the movie ‘Desi Boyz’ in an urban dance style form for which he will garner some rewarding comments from all the judges.

Judge Geeta Kapur loved the gags that the duo added in their performance, as she expressed her delight, “Your footwork is like firework – clockwork and dhamaakedaar.” Furthermore, judges Malika Arora and Terence Lewis awarded the duo with great feedback as they both found the act entertaining, smooth, well-timed and felt that the performance really brought out the fuzion of hip-hop and street style dancing.

Appreciating the judges’ feedback Akash says, “I feel lucky to have a choreographer like Tushar Sir with me. He is very patient with me and every time I get to learn something from him. We hope we can make our next performance even better.”

After the duo’s performance, Akash’s sister will come on the stage and share how everyone called her to congratulate after Akash’s fantastic performance at the Grand Premiere. Not only this, a lot of people even wanted to come on the sets and see Akash performance live. Later, the show’s host Maniesh Paul will invite Akash’s school teachers on stage where they shared anecdotes on how Akash used to have a gang in school named ‘Keeda’ and he inspired a haircut called ‘Murga Cut’. This will leave everyone in chuckles. The teachers further commented on how ‘Akash’ has come a long way from his carefree school days and they are super proud of him for being on this coveted stage and pursuing his ultimate dream.
