‘YRKKH’ actor Sharan Anandani says, ‘Vibes on the set are very important, it determines the success of the show’!

#SharanAnandani is grabbing attention and positive feedback for his portrayal of Vansh in #RajanShahi’s #YehRishtaKyaKehlataHai. The trilogy that has been running for over twelve years is now airing it’s third edition after a leap. Sharan shares that the entire team is like a family and that everyone looks forward to meet each other.

While he gels well with everyone, but shares a special bond with some of them. “On the set, I gel most with Mayank Arora, who is playing Kairav, because firstly we are brothers in the show. Secondly, we have become good friends and even practice our scenes at times. I am also close to Karishma Sawant, who is playing Arohi. We keep discussing scenes, approach and also spending time talking about how we could improve to make things better,” he adds.

Sharan also shares that Mayank Arora always plays pranks on him. He shares a recent incident. “I had finished my work for the day and the executive producer (EP) told me that you’re free. So I came to the room and saw Mayank who was supposed to shoot a scene also packed up. But before that what happened was when he came into the room I told him, ‘yayyyyyy mera jaldi Packup hogaya, mai jaake Sooryavanshi dekhuga’. Apparently, he got a call from the EP who told him that I will have to stay, like Vansh has to stay for some other shoot. So once he disconnected the call he said, ‘Yayy ab Sooryavanshi mai jaake dekhuga aur tu shoot karega’. And then when I went to meet our EP wearing the costume again, he told me that he played a prank on me,” laughs the actor.

When asked about his experience of playing an elder brother on-screen, Sharan shares that it has been a good one.

“It’s fun to play the elder one as you get to boss around your co-actors (laughs again). But I must say that these people are so good, hardworking and professional that you can’t even tell the difference as to who is playing the elder siblings and who isn’t,” he adds.

Vibes on the set are very important, it determines the success of the show. Agreeing, Sharan says, “The vibes on our set are very positive. Thanks to Rajan Shahi Sir and the entire team of Directors Kut Production. Everybody on set, even my co-actors, are hardworking, honest. Some of them have been together for quite some time, so they know each other well. We have everything we need. Also everyone here is trustworthy. So even if you forget anything, you can rest assured that you will get it back. They encourage you to do well, boost your confidence and things are quite apolitical here.”

Overall, the experience of playing Vansh on screen has been a fulfilling one for Sharan. “I’ve been enjoying it since day one. The fact that I am being able to entertain and make people laugh, something I enjoy doing amid serious scenes makes me happy. Vansh is a good character. He’s jovial, full of energy, fun, and supportive. I am hoping to take this character forward successfully,” he ends.
