120 children to get education, thanks to Karan Johar
Most of the Bollywood fraternity indulges in social causes, some openly, some silently. But actor Arjun Kapoor’s lovely sister has founded a online fundraising platform which through campaigns make fans’ dream come true. Anshula Kapoor’s new fundraising initiative ‘Fankind’ has been winning hearts as it’s been raising funds for children’s causes. Anshula’s earlier campaigns saw Alia Bhatt, Kartik Aryan, Janhavi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan talking part and the latest to join the list of celebrities is producer, director Karan Johar.
It would not be wrong to say that Karan Johar will go on a “coffee date” with his fan, this fan-meeting will be in Mumbai. Actually, Anshula Kapoor works to introduce celebrities and their fans through their fund raising platform Fankind. Through this, they collect money for charitable causes. Fankind has handed over the funds collected by this initiative to Karan Johar to ActionAid, which will be used for the education of 120 children of Lucknow. The ActionAid organization works for underprivileged children in Lucknow.
Anshula Kapoor’s online fundraising platform, ‘Fankind’ on their fifth campaign with director Karan Johar ended with a smile on the face of a fan who got to meet his most favourite Director over a cup of coffee and confession chats. The money collected by Karan Johar’s initiative has been given for the education of 120 children in Lucknow through ActionAid.
