Director-Actor Adeeb Rais hits the bulls eye with his latest short film ‘#LoveRaddi’!

Over the last few years with the boom of OTT platforms and digital content, viewers today have a lot of choice to pick from. With the clutter of content out there, it’s becoming more and more challenging for filmmakers to create content that stands out from the crowd and offer the viewers something fresh.

Director – Actor Adeeb Rais hits the bulls eye with his latest short film ‘Love, Raddi’. The 20 minute poignant relationship drama leaves you with a mix of emotions that even many 2 hour long movies and 10 episode long shows fail to accomplish.

The film set in Mumbai follows the story of two young professionals who meet to explore the idea of arranged marriage and slowly end up motivating each other to dig deep within themselves and resolve their childhood traumas.

What starts off as a breezy watch smoothly translates into a hard hitting film on the prejudices of Indian society and dysfunctional parenting. The film boasts of excellent performances from the entire cast that includes Harshita Gaur of Mirzapur , Sonali Sachdev, Rishi Deshpande and Adeeb Rais himself.

The film also excels technically with top notch cinematography, production design and background score.

The sound design deserves special mention for its use of silence and effectively using music only when required.

‘Love, Raddi’ is engaging, relevant and asks the right questions. A film surely worth your 20minutes.
