Dipali Pansare is enjoying playing a negative role for the first time in ‘Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei’!
Chikoo is a unique story of a young girl, how different phases and challenges of her life make her journey extraordinary. #DipaliPansare says #ChikooKiMummyDurrKei is not like any other show that she has done in the past. The actor plays the role of Kamini in this #HerumbKhot and #NilanjanaPurkayasstha production.
“Of course Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei is totally different from all the past shows that I have been a part of. Also, for me, I am playing a negative character for the first time here. Such characters often get the best out of you, so I enjoy playing Kamini thoroughly,” she says.
Since the show has young children on the set, there is a lot of fun every day. The vibe is also very happy and positive, she reveals.
“It’s a lot of fun, these kids are so energetic. And, the moment you meet children you feel their positive energy. I so love being around them. That’s definitely a plus of the show,” she adds.
Though she enjoys playing her part, certain sequences are emotionally taxing, shares Dipali. “I still remember when Nupur (Paridhi Sharma) and Milind (Himanshu Malhotra) get the news of Payal’s (Vaishnavi Prajapat) death, it was so beautifully performed by all the actors that even watching them perform made the whole team cry while shooting that sequence. Also, being a mother in real life, I could relate to Nupur’s pain. Luckily, I had to fake my emotions in that scene but such scenes do give you creative satisfaction too,” says the actor.
The show is beautifully written and some dialogues strike a chord with the audience. “Definitely! Writers on this show are doing a brilliant job for sure. But to do justice to those beautiful lines you have to emote well too as then only audiences can relate to particular characters. I hope we actors are able to pull off the emotions well,” she ends.
