#SaneGuruji had penned ‘#ShyamchiAai’ which was made into a cinema in 1953. The thought covered in that cinema is still relevant. #DirectorSujayDahake is making a movie on the same story with the same name and interestingly the movie will be in black and white. The shoot of ‘Shyamchi Aai’ is in full swaying. After completing first schedule in Pawas the unit has headed to Panhala at Kolhapur. Producer #AmrutaArunRao is producing ‘Shyamchi Aai’ under the banner of Amruta Films.
Shyamchi Aai’s second schedule clap was given by ex MP Dhananjay Mahadik at Panhala. Shri Dhananjay Mahadik believes that films like ‘Shyamchi Aai’ is the need of the hour. He further said, “Kolhapur has a great heritage of art, sports, and education. We all know that Bhaljee Pendharkar marked the beginning of filmmaking in Kolhapur. Therefore, many gems in Kolhapur have shone in the field of music and art. Due to this, Kolhapur has a special love for films. Many popular films have been shot here in Kolhapur and Panhalgad. Panhalgad and Pavankhind are famous historical heritages. As the second shooting schedule of ‘Shyamchi Aai’ is being launched at Panhalgad, I heartily congratulate Amruta Rao, Sujay Dahake, and their entire team for this film. Thanks to Bhosale Sarkar for providing this building for the shooting.”
He requested that the premiere of this film be held in Kolhapur. He also hoped that the audience would like the film. Sujay Dahake, who has always made films based on various content based subjects, is directing this film. The film is currently being shot at a school in Panhala. In today’s colorful era, this film is going to take the audience back to the old days as it is being shot in black and white. In this film, Sujay will try to give disclosure to the loving relationship between Shyam and his mother, with 60-70 actors from Panhala-Kolhapur along with the actors from Konkan.
After shooting in many scenic places in Konkan, the important part of ‘Shyamchi Aai’ is being shot in Panhala.
