Comedic actor Prathamesh Parab plays a realistic role in ‘Anya’!
Prathamesh Parab is known for his comic performances. But in an upcoming bilingual ;Anya’ he’s be seen portraying a realistic character. Some actors do not hesitate to take any kind of effort or risk to do justice to their character in the film. Prathamesh is one of them. He believes in hard work and sincere portrayal of anything he’s playing. Prathamesh has worked very hard for the character in the Hindi-Marathi film ‘Anya’ which is releasing soon.
Prathamesh became popular with his ‘Dagdu’ in Time Pass. He is confident that his character in ‘Anya’ will also be liked by everyone. In ‘TP’ Prathamesh played a romantic role while in Anya’, which is based on realistic incidents, he undertakes the task of exposing anti-social rackets. Prathamesh plays a spy who helps in exposing anti social elements.
In order to make this character feel real in the film, Prathamesh had already visited the red light area in Delhi. He studied the lifestyle and behavioural pattern to be incorporated i his character in Anya. He assimilated the personality, the way of life, the nature, the dialect in his portrayal. To bring authenticity to his character he visited the red light area, he admits. Prathamesh’s character plays an important cog in the story.
South director Simmy Joseph has directed ‘Anya’ and is also writing. The dialogues are by Mahendra Patil and the cinematography is by Sajjan Kalathil. The film also stars Raima Sen, Atul Kulkarni, Tejashree Pradhan, Bhushan Pradhan, Kritika Dev, Sunil Tawde, Yashpal Sharma and Govind Namdev.
Producer Shelna K. And Simmy has co-produced ‘Anya’ with Capitolwoods under the banner of Initiative Films which is ready for release on 17th June , ‘22.
