Chitrangda Singh believes that it is extremely important to be humane during lockdown

The ‘Bazaar’ actress, Chitrangda Singh, has been making the most of her quarantine period by uploading her own Tik Tok videos. While Chitrangda is loving every bit of it, she also thinks that it is not mandatory for each one of us to be productive during lockdown. She believes it’s important to do what one wants to rather than just following the herd. “It’s good and important to be productive but I don’t feel that we need to put any kind of pressure on ourselves. It’s just important to go with the flow as nothing is in our control right now. I like to get up at a certain time and do my work out but beyond that, I don’t feel compelled to do anything in particular. I don’t think it’s a bad thing at all,” says Chitrangda. She further says, “I think we all miss working, being creative and productive. I was supposed to finish Bob Biswas and start with another script. But as fate would have it, the script is still being worked upon and fine-tuned.”

Singh believes that it is extremely important to be humane and to carry out our responsibilities as dutiful citizens of the country. She says, “At times like these, any amount of help is not enough. Like most of us, I am also monetarily helping a friend, who distributes meals to the needy. I guess what we can do is set examples and influence people to reach out to those who don’t have shelter and are without the means to buy food.”

The actress further revealed how she tackled her initial anxiety as the COVID-19 situation worsened around the world. “I was anxious after looking at the number of deaths and positive cases. There has been a rise and the numbers are doubling up. There will be loss of life and money and the economy (will falter). But I believe that if we follow the instructions and if we keep ourselves mentally strong, we can overcome this,” says the actress further motivating people to stay positive, come what may.
