Aparshakti Khurana relives his wedding ceremony with ‘Teri Yaari’
After delivering superhit romantic number ‘Kudiye Ni’ last year, Aparshakti Khurana has now got us all excited with his latest single titled ‘Teri Yaari’. Reflecting on the beautiful bond of friendship, the song sets the perfect mood since everyone is under a lockdown, missing their friends. Directed by Navjit Buttar, Teri Yaari shows the everlasting friendship between three guys, featuring Aparshakti along with Millind Gaba and King Kaazi.
Speaking of the song, one thing which has got all our attention is the fact that the red sherwani Aparshakti is seen wearing in the song is actually from his wedding day. Designed by celebrated designer duo Shantanu & Nikhil, the outfit sure brings fond memories for the actor from his special days. Interestingly, during his wedding, Khurana never got a chance to have Haldi ceremony and neither could he ride a mare for his Baraat. However, the best part being that the multi-talented star could finally do these two things and live the moments during the shoot of Teri Yaari.
Being shot at Hauz Khas Village and on the outskirts of Delhi, song’s music is composed by Millind Gaba’ #MusicMG and lyrics are penned by Millind Gaba, King Kaazi, Viruss and Stylish Singh. Crooned by Aparshakti, Millind and Kaazi, Teri Yaari takes you on a nostalgia trip, reminding of your special moments with friends. Ecstatic to bring out the song for all his fans, Aparshakti Khurana said, “Teri Yaari is really special and close to my heart. It’s such a relatable number which talks about love, bonding, emotions and friendship. The song is all-the-more special for me since I’m wearing my wedding day Sherwani in it and reliving all the special moments in a way. Infact, in my own wedding, I didn’t have Haldi celebrations and couldn’t even ride a mare, but I finally did it during the shoot of this song.”
