Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar’s fun banter about Hotstar Specials Hundred

It’s been over 40 days since the lockdown, but that hasn’t marred the Bollywood spirit to keep audiences, who are home bound, entertained. The multi-talented actor Ayushmann Khurrana who is often seeing sharing his poems  and songs with his fans on social media, called up his close friend and co-actor Bhumi Pednekar to exchange notes about shows and movies to must-watch. Topping their list was Hotstar Specials latest show HUNDRED – that marked the digital debut for Lara Dutta Bhupathi and Rinku Rajguru of Sairat fame. .

Ayushmann seems to be agreeing with all the fantastic reviews received by the show and recommends it to Bhumi as a must watch in hisnown inimitable style. He playfully teases Bhumi saying that Lara and Rinku’s jodi reminded him of their first film together – Dum Lagake Haisha since the tag line of the show is दो खिलाडी. प्रॉब्लम “भारी.” In the video, he goes on to say, “Seen Lara Dutta after so many days, and she is looking like Lady Chulbul Pandey. She’s killed it!! And of course Rinku, her comic timing is just like Govinda sirs – trust me”

Hotstar Specials presents HUNDRED is about a terminally ill girl, Netra Patil (Rinku Rajguru) looking for thrills is hired to be an undercover agent by an ambitious female cop,  ACP Saumya Shukla (Lara Dutta) looking for a promotion. As they both unite to accomplish their own goal in 100 days, chaos ensues. Directors Ruchi Narain, Ashutosh Shah and Taher Shabbir have maintained a crisp balance between action, drama and humour that make HUNDRED a fun family entertainer. The cast includes power house talent in prominent roles including Karan Wahi, Sudhanshu Pandey, Parmeet Sethi, Rohini Hattangidi, Arun Nalawde and Makarand Deshpande.
